Series Chassis

We currently sell all of the Series Land Rover chassis apart from Series I. Please select below to read more information about you type of Series Land Rover Chassis.

Series 2

We can offer two types of the above chassis.

All of our chassis are made from 2.5 mm British Steel and come Galvanized as standard. Once galvanized our chassis are taken back into the workshop and rectified. All holes are re-drilled and re-tapped before standard suspension bushes are fitted before delivery.

 

Production Chassis

The first is what we call a Production Chassis which is a direct replacement for your current chassis but does not have the redundant brackets and utilises later type brackets and cross members which are easier and cheaper to manufacture which, to the casual observer will look like the original chassis. These chassis are ideal for the customer who wants to re-build rather than restore their car.

Replica Chassis

The second is the Replica Chassis which we manufacture as per the original with 4 sided cross members and replica seems to emulate the pressed originals. This also includes original type brackets and we have now developed a rear cross member which is an exact replica of the original Land Rover type. This chassis is aimed at the Series 2 Enthusiast who wants to restore his or her car as close to the original as possible. We will endeavour to copy any peculiarities which may occur on your car if you let us know what they are. These chassis are more expensive than the production chassis due to the extra work involved in manufacture, but to the enthusiast who wants to restore, it must be worth the cost.

Series 2

Series 2a a-c2a d-h. (a-c, d-h are the suffix letters at the end of your chassis number)

Standard Chassis

The early and late Series IIa chassis vary in some very fundamental ways which will determine whether you have a straight forward re-build or whether you are buying parts to make them work properly. Click Here to take a look.

 

Military 1 Ton

This is the heavy duty military version of a 109" chassis with twin height suspension hangers, oil cooler mounts, bolt up gear box cross member and military rear cross member. Click Here to take a look. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Air-portable / Lightweight

This is the full military chassis complete with the square shape rear cross member which is fully braced for extra stability. It has the proper style seat belt mounts, oil cooler mounts, bolt up gear box cross member and front bumper cross member with narrow bulk head riggers. Series 3

All of our chassis are made from 2.5 mm British Steel and come Galvanized as standard. Once galvanized our chassis are taken back into the workshop and rectified. All holes are re-drilled and re-tapped before standard suspension bushes are fitted before delivery.

Standard Chassis 

We build the last suffix of the Series 3 Chassis which is Land Rover's final leaf sprung design. This features extra bracing and gussets making it far superior to earlier suffix designs. This chassis will fit all Series 3 Land Rovers. Click Here to take a look. 

 

Military 1 Ton

Stage 1 V8

We now manufacture Stage 1 V8 chassis. This is the forerunner to the defender chassis. It is easily distinguishable by the fact that they have a 110 bonnet and radiator grille but are still leaf sprung and is technically the first stage (hence the name) of the transition between leaf sprung and coil sprung Land Rovers. Click Here to take a look. 

 

 

 

 

2B Forward Control

We now manufacture the 2B Forward Control chassis. It is available in 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder versions .
