P38 conversion provides mounts for a Range Rover P38 power steering box, the 4 bolt conversion includes modified rails to fit the Defender steering box. In both cases the battery shelf is deleted.

Product Details

Chassis to fit the 6 cylinder engined vehicles. The chassis is specific to this engine as cross members are moved back to give room for the longer engine / gear box combination and the engine mounts are relocated. Numerous extra mounting points are fitted for the fuel pumps and exhaust system. Built as a production chassis this is a direct swap for your original chassis.
The chassis comes galvanized as standard, supplied with a removable gear box cross member and chassis bushes fitted, all holes are drilled and tapped UNF after galvanizing.
Chassis are available as Truck / Pick Up (2/3 door) or Station Wagon (5 door)
